Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European Affairs, Arbër Ademi PhD, today had a meeting with the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Hungary in the Republic of Macedonia, László István Dux PhD.
At the meeting Ademi emphasised the good cooperation between the two countries in many areas, out of which he specified the support for Euro-Atlantic integration, as well as the cooperation in dealing with the migrant crisis and the support from Hungary to secure the borders, while expressing support for its deepening further.
At the meeting they also discussed the key activities implemented in the previous period in accordance with the commitments arising from the Political Agreement, so that they jointly underlined the importance of organisation of democratic and credible parliamentary elections. The Deputy Prime Minister also underlined the Government's commitment for fulfilment of the Urgent Reform Priorities, as well as complete implementation of the recommendations from the analysis of the Ohrid Framework Agreement.
Deputy Prime Minister Ademi wished the newly appointed ambassador István Dux successful work during his mandate, hoping to continue and advance the good mutual cooperation.
