Deputy President of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in charge of European Affairs, Arbr Ademi PhD today had an official meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Germany in the Republic of Macedonia, Ms Christine Althauzer.
The Deputy Prime Minister Ademi and the Ambassador Althauzer addressed the political crisis in the country at the meeting, noting that it takes all signatories to the agreement of Przino to fulfill their obligations in order to overcome the situation.
Deputy Prime Minister Ademi expressed his confidence that despite the current situation, the Republic of Macedoniais and will stay on its Euro-Atlantic strategic orientation. We want to become NATO member-state as soon as possible, and also we are willing to start the EU accession negotiations, stated Ademi.
Deputy Prime Minister Ademi expressed his gratitude to the German support to the country received so far, while expecting that the cooperation shall continue in the forthcoming period. The Republic of Macedonia and the Federal Republic of Germany keep the traditionally good bilateral relations which are obvious in the close cooperation as strategic partners that are implemented through certain common projects, as well as direct support through the GIZ office.
