Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, from the parking lot of Skopje Kale marked the beginning of the new chapter of the European integration of the Republic of Northern Macedonia symbolically - starting with a bus.
"We have the right to be proud because we have removed all obstacles, we have created all the conditions, and as precisely stated in the Report of the European Commission, we have created a state ready for the start of the negotiations," Osmani stated, assuring the citizens that the prospects will soon be turned into reality. "I assure you, and I call you: do not refrain from being proud, do not be afraid to be optimistic - Republic of North Macedonia will start the negotiations with the Union this year! "- Osmani stressed.
The attendees then boarded on the bus, which was specially branded for this occasion, symbolically starting the new road. The event continued at the MK-EU Info Centre on the central square, where the students - winners of the competition "With European Knowledge to the European Capital" were promoted, and who will visit Brussels next week, and they will also visit the European institutions and closely get to know their work.
