Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister Osmani with NATO Secretary General , Jens Stoltenberg
18:40, Monday, June 12, 2017
At the meeting they discussed the rule of law, strengthening the inter ethnic society and good neighbourly relations which are essential for further progress. It was stressed that the focus on the reform agenda and ensuring political stability is important, because it will be beneficial to all citizens and for the Euro- Atlantic aspirations of the country. Once again, they confirmed  the contribution of the troops of the Republic of Macedonia in Afghanistan, as fourth country according to contribution per capita. Macedonia is a proven partner of NATO and it has been contributing to NATO operations since 2002, and as a member of the Alliance it will be able to give even greater support. In the Republic of Macedonia there is strong political support from all parties and ethnic groups, as well as strong contribution from the public for NATO membership.
