Hellenic Plan for the Economic Reconstruction of the Balkans 2002-2006 and 2007-2011

HPERB 2002 – 2006 (extended to 2011) highlights infrastructure modernisation, particularly in energy and transport sectors.

1. 79% of HPERB (EUR 60 million) are allocated for funding projects proposed by the Republic of Macedonia through the National Coordinator for Foreign Assistance.
2. 20% of HPERB (EUR 15 million) will be allocated by the Greek Ministry of Economy and Finance for funding investments in production, amounting to 30% of the granted investment value.
3. 1% of HPERB (EUR 0.75 million) will be placed in disposal of the Greek Liaison Office in the Republic of Macedonia, intended for establishing Grassroots Project Fund, mainly of technical character, aimed at emergency actions in local self-government, amounting up to EUR 50,000 The total value for the Republic of Macedonia amounts to EUR 74.84 million.
