Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, started his
working visit to Finland, where he had meetings with the representatives of the
Grand Committee within the Finnish Parliament, led by First Deputy Speaker of
Parliament Jani Mäkelä, where they exchanged views on the country's EU integration
process, and Finland's support within their EU presidency.
Macedonia has the political and institutional capacity to continue the path
towards full membership in the Union, and we as a Government remain committed
to this process until the full membership in the EU and NATO," Osmani
stated at the meeting.
the visit, Deputy Prime Minister Osmani also had a meeting at the Directorate
for Autonomy and Equality of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Finland
with Corinna Tammenmaa, Senior Adviser for Language Affairs. At the meeting
they exchanged experiences on the application of bilingualism in Finland as a
country that has successfully implemented this process. During the meeting the
possibilities for cooperation in this direction were also discussed, in order
to successfully implement the Law on the Use of Languages in the Republic of

Minister of European Affairs, Tytti Tuppurainen, as well as with the Minister
of Foreign Affairs, Pekka Haavisto.
