11:32, Tuesday, October 16, 2018

Deputy Prime Minister in charge of European Affairs, Bujar Osmani, had a meeting with Karl Johan Hedberg and Edin Colak, representatives of "Business Sweden", whose role is to explore and promote the business potentials for Swedish companies.

"Macedonia and Sweden have extremely positive and friendly political relations, which is a wide potential for cooperation of both economies," Osmani said at the meeting, pointing out the activities of the Swedish state in the progress in the European and Euro-Atlantic integrations of the country, but also on the direct bilateral assistance provided by Sweden to Macedonia.

"Macedonia is at the very beginning of the last phase of full membership in the European Union - the explanatory screening before the start of negotiations, which means full synchronization of our economy and society with that of the Union," Osmani stated, thus pointing out the following period as the best business opportunity for direct foreign investments, given the political, institutional and social progress that the country expects.

"Business Sweden" is a partner institution of the Government and the Swedish business sector, whose role is to provide potential for economic and business exchange of the Swedish economy, to identify and promote business and economic opportunities for cooperation, and to provide access of Swedish companies to foreign markets and investment opportunities.
